Belgaum Muncipal Solid Waste Management (Belgaum MSW), Dist. Belgavi belongs to Re Sustainability Limited and started its operations in December 2006 as a world class Storage, Disposal Facility to manage municipal waste disposal. The project was awarded by Karnataka State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KSIIDC) to Re Sustainability Limited through global tendering and is set up on an area of about 66 acres.

The facility has Temporary waste stores, Secured landfill,  facility and an Leachate treatment plant with 100% power backup facilities.

Transportation of Municipal Waste is arranged by Belgaum MSW with the help of specially designed vehicles.

The facility is equipped with a Hi-Tech laboratory enabling comprehensive analysis of solid waste, water and wastewater. It is well equipped with all sophisticated instruments required for the analysis prescribed by governing authorities. The laboratory monitors periodically the ground water, surface water, air, noise, soil and stack emissions within its premises.
